You've attended an information session! You've created a profile! You're ready to start baking, but...what now? Here are your next steps:
Step 1: Choose your Recipe/Formula - Whether you're baking bread or energy cookies, you'll need our signature Community Loaves formula (aka recipe). Log into Volunteer Dashboard and locate the blue "Formulas" button. Click to view our different bread and cookie formulas. Need help deciding what to bake? Learn more about our offerings here.
Step 2: Create List of Needed Supplies
Step 3: Order Supplies - Our monthly Flour Fundraiser is a terrific way for you to save money on professional-grade flours while supporting our nonprofit at the same time. All donated items must be packaged in Community Loaves bags, also available for purchase through our Flour Fundraiser.

- Supplies are available for pickup at our Kirkland warehouse every Tuesday from 10:00 - 4:00 pm.
- Alternatively, we deliver to your local hub once a month. In the check-out process, you can select the date/address combination that works best for you.
- Not all supplies will be purchased through Community Loaves; you will purchase some items needed to complete the recipe at your local grocery store.
Step 4: Bake, cool, and package (freeze for later donation) - Find more info about packaging and storage here.
Step 5: Pre-check your items - Before 6pm on Saturday before donation Sunday, please pre-check your items via the Make A Donation section on your CL Dashboard. This step helps your hub leader prepare for their collection effort.
