Doughnation Angels are Community Loaves' own cheerleading squad! Doughnation Angels volunteer a little bit of time each month to write messages of support to other bakers, celebrating their achievements. We're always looking for more folks to join the Doughnation Angel squad, read on to see if this is a good fit for you!
As a Doughnation Angel, you will honor and cheer on our dedicated volunteer bakers by tracking and celebrating their key baking milestones, like reaching 50 Bread Loaves or 100 Energy Cookies donated. Your personalized notes create meaningful moments that reinforce their positive impact in nurturing communities.
Why It Matters
Our mission is to reduce hunger and promote wellness through volunteers donating whole grain nourishment to neighborhood food banks. When Doughnation Angels recognize major milestones, it strengthens volunteers' emotional connection, motivation, and sense of belonging in our “Breader Together” community. Everyone needs a little gratitude, and we want our bakers to feel seen and appreciated for their baked-from-the-heart donations!

Impact
By celebrating real, quantifiable accomplishments—like a baker reaching 500 energy cookies donated—you reinforce our core values (“nurturing strong communities” through home-based baking) and encourage bakers to continue showing up and donating twice a month. Your recognition transforms routine baking into a shared celebration of community impact as we Bake the World a Better Place.
